Interested in exploring your faith and/or doubts but don't feel comfortable attending a traditional church?
Already attending church but looking for an additional worship/learning opportunity?
Looking for a "church" which is welcoming to everyone?
Searching for community?
The 8th Day Project is a small, fun, passionate group of Christians who meet weekly, every Sunday evening, out in the Oshkosh community rather than in a church.
Most of our gatherings are held at Oblio's Lounge, 434 N Main St, Oshkosh, WI from 7 - 8 pm.
Each month, we hold a combination of worship, learning and outreach nights. Find and like us on Facebook to see our upcoming events.
The 8th Day Project welcomes people of all backgrounds. We believe that Jesus lived and died for everyone, everywhere and that, despite our collective brokenness, we are all beloved children of God. You are welcome at The 8th Day Project regardless of where you are on your personal faith journey and we strive to be a safe place where both your faith and your doubts can be expressed and discussed.
As beloved children of God, we see all of creation as having valuable stories and infinite worth. These are gifts from God, meant to be shared with the world. Together as a community, we follow Christ's own example of inclusion and love: we welcome all. We affirm people of all races, ages, abilities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and backgrounds into full community participation and leadership. All are welcome to gather around the table and font to share in the bountiful gift of grace we all receive through Christ as we are brought into reconciliation and wholeness, so we can be sent out into the greater community to share God’s love and grace with all people.
We would absolutely love for you to join us!
